Lindsey-Vonn
Lindsey Vonn (born 18 Oct 1984) is a former American alpine ski champion who took home gold in downhill at the Winter Olympics 2010. She is second in the world for super scores amongst female or male skiers. She is the most famous and one of America's best-loved skiers. Caroline Vonn, a World Cup winning alpine skier from the United States with the nickname Lindsey Vonn represents the US Ski Team. She is the four-time winner of the World Cup. She is an athlete who has earned her name in American culture. There are only six females who have won the five World Cup alpine ski events. In total, she's achieved 82 World Cup championships. The best skier of all time, and most successful American racer of all time in skiing has announced her retirement following their participation in the World Championship in Sweden. A string of health problems led this four-time World Cup Overall Champion to choose to quit her job. The former World Cup overall champion announced her retirement via social media.
